Transport and mobility projects are funded at EU level, in particular through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF Transport), supplemented by national programmes covering areas such as rail, intermodal logistics and sustainable mobility. Such projects are often large-scale, long-term and of European significance for the transport of goods and passengers. Transport and mobility is one of the key infrastructure focus areas for The Funding Team, which has, amongst other things, supported the development of a Europe-wide network of lorry hubs using EU funding.
