SMEs in Germany and the EU are eligible for a particularly wide range of funding – including through the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM), the tax-based research allowance, KfW promotional loans and EU instruments such as the EIC Accelerator. In many programmes, SMEs receive higher funding rates than large enterprises. The Funding Team helps small and medium-sized enterprises to identify the most attractive and promising instruments from this wide range and, where possible, to combine them in a way that makes economic sense.
