The time taken from the initial consultation to approval depends heavily on the programme and ranges from a few months for national grants to half a year for competitive EU programmes with fixed submission deadlines. Key factors include the call schedule for the respective programme, as well as the lead time required for preparing the application and – in the case of some EU projects – establishing a consortium. The Funding Team plans applications around these deadlines and supports companies from strategy development through the application process to the grant agreement.
