At EU level, the digitalisation of infrastructure is funded, amongst other things, through the digital strand of the Connecting Europe Facility, as well as other EU and national programmes that support connectivity, digital networks and the digital modernisation of existing infrastructure. Digitalisation projects can often be combined with transport or energy projects. Digitalisation is one of The Funding Team’s key infrastructure focus areas; the team identifies projects in this field, submits funding applications and documents the use of funds.
