Across Europe, there are hundreds of funding programmes available for energy projects and charging infrastructure, including EU funding for renewable energy and grids, as well as national programmes for the expansion of electric mobility. As the range of options is vast and complex, targeted selection and prioritisation are key to ensuring cost-effectiveness. The Funding Team has been supporting energy and mobility projects since 2012; following a detailed project analysis, it draws up a funding ranking and has secured funding for numerous charging infrastructure projects in several EU Member States, including for the municipal utilities in Rotterdam.
