Large companies and corporate groups can access public funding, particularly for research and development, major infrastructure and site development projects, and investments in competitiveness, often through EU programmes and national funding for large-scale projects. Compared to SMEs, they are often subject to lower funding rates and stricter requirements regarding documentation and state aid law. The Funding Team advises corporate groups on precisely such projects and, for example, analysed the expansion of four European sites for an internationally renowned chemical group, using this to develop a structured funding pipeline for future innovation and growth projects.
